SMS is the most commonly-used method of digital communication. While 97% of US adults own a cell-phone, only 85% of those phones are smartphones. This means that SMS reaches a large segment of people who you can't reach through an app. SMS open rates are as high as 98% (5x email open rates), so you can have confidence that your communications will be seen.
It is estimated that as many as 95% of US phone users have unlimited text messaging as part of their cell phone plan. This means that they would not incur any additional charges from their provider for communicating with Fidant. For any users on pay-per-text plans, standard rates apply.
To ensure that none of your employees ever get charged, Free-to-end-user phone numbers are available for an additional fee.
You can choose whether or not to make conversations with Fidant anonymous. If anonymity settings are on, employees will be told that their interactions are anonymized by Fidant, and the insights you see will not show employee identities.

Depending on the employment agreements you have in place with your employees, we may recommend having employees opt in to receiving text messages. We can provide language you can use as a reference. When employees are using their personal cell phones, the first text message Fidant sends to an employee always includes opt out information, and employees can opt out at any time.
Typically we find that teams of more than 50 employees get the most value out of Fidant, but Fidant can be used for any size of workforce.
