  • How does Fidant work?
    Fidant allows you to send messages, gather feedback, and manage workflows over SMS. Fidant uses conversational AI to start individual conversations with your employees. The conversation data is then summarized and categorized to make it easy for you to see key takeaways, manage tasks, and respond to employees.
  • Do my employees have to download an app?
    No. All messages to and from Fidant are conducted over SMS.
  • Why SMS?
    SMS is the most commonly-used method of digital communication. While 97% of US adults own a cell-phone, only 85% of those phones are smartphones. This means that SMS reaches a large segment of people who you can't reach through an app. SMS open rates are as high as 98% (5x email open rates), so you can have confidence that your communications will be seen.
  • Will our employees incur SMS fees?
    It is estimated that as many as 95% of US phone users have unlimited text messaging as part of their cell phone plan. This means that they would not incur any additional charges from their provider for communicating with Fidant. For any users on pay-per-text plans, standard rates apply. To ensure that none of your employees ever get charged, Free-to-end-user phone numbers are available for an additional fee.
  • Are conversations anonymous?
    You can choose whether or not to make conversations with Fidant anonymous. If anonymity settings are on, employees will be told that their interactions are anonymized by Fidant, and the insights you see will not show employee identities.
  • Can Fidant integrate with my HRIS?
    Fidant can integrate with most commercially available HRIS platforms. Contact us to make sure we can integrate with your system.
  • Can Fidant integrate with my project management software?
    We can integrate with several project and ticket management platforms so that you don't have to switch away from your current tools. Contact us to explore integration options.
  • How does Fidant prevent my team being overloaded with messages?
    Fidant automatically prioritizes and staggers communications to make sure conversations aren't interrupted and your employees aren't overloaded with text messages.
  • Can employees opt out?
    Depending on the employment agreements you have in place with your employees, we may recommend having employees opt in to receiving text messages. We can provide language you can use as a reference. When employees are using their personal cell phones, the first text message Fidant sends to an employee always includes opt out information, and employees can opt out at any time.
  • What size of organization is Fidant designed for?
    Typically we find that teams of more than 50 employees get the most value out of Fidant, but Fidant can be used for any size of workforce.
